DESIGN AND SYNTHESIS OF SOME ARYLHYDRAZONE DERIVATIVES AS POTENTIAL FAAH INHIBITORS

Objective: The aim was to design, synthesis and investigation of possible interactions in the enzyme active site a series arylhydrazone derivatives for inhibition FAAH enzyme. Material Method: Arylhydrazone were obtained through reaction nicotinic hydrazide or benzohydrazide with appropriate aldehyde derivatives, crude product recrystallized from ethanol. After elucidating chemical structures compounds via spectroscopic methods, inhibitory activities against hFAAH screened. results further supported molecular modeling studies. Result Discussion: In this study, new seven screened hFAAH. 4-phenoxyphenyl bearing derivative 5 found inhibit 40 % at 10 µM which indicates that newly developed inhibitor could serve as starting point improving effect series.
